We very much want our visitors to enjoy their stay and below we have tried to answer questions that we are frequently asked.

Are linen and towels provided ?

Bathroom and bed linen are provided and fresh replacements supplied each week of your stay.

Please note towels for the swimming pool are not provided.

What local restaurant's are available ?

There are a number of good restaurants in Vinci village and the surrounding area which happily accept children and which all serve good quality food at reasonable prices.

We'll be happy to advise you when you visit.

Are there clothes washing facilities ?

Yes for which there is a charge of Euro 3:50 per load.

Where can we hire a car ?

Both Florence and Pisa airports are served by all the major car rental companies.

The quality of service of these companies is obviously outside of our control and therefore cannot be guaranteed by us.

If we are expecting to arrive late on Saturday night will there be somebody to meet us and are food shops open on Sundays ?

Yes of course we'll be there to meet you no matter what time you arrive and because the food shops are closed on Sundays we'll provide a complimentary breakfast basket so you won't have to worry.

What are local transport links like ?

The railway station in nearby Empoli serves Florence, Pisa and Siena.

For all of your other transport needs we would recommend car hire.

Can we assist with the Grape or Olive Harvest ?

We will be happy for you to join us for few hours for this experience.

All the harvests vary in timing due to a number of factors, so we are unable to guarantee your participation.

As a rough guide however the White grape harvest normally falls in August, The Red Grape harvest in September and the Olive harvest in November.

Can we buy the Wine and Olive Oil you produce?

Of Course!

We're very proud of our wine and olive oil because they are grown organically with the oil having frequently been an award winner.

If you are a keen fisherman, the link below will connect you with Fly Fishing Italy who offer one and two day fishing trips including guide service, equipment, transport and picnic lunch.
