HOW TO FIND US Vinci the birthplace of Leonardo, is an historical village surrounded by vineyards and olive groves and is centrally located within easy access to the major cities. Podere Zollaio is on the outskirts of Vinci and has beautiful views of the village. If you are intending to drive down from Pisa airport, you should exit the airport onto the Superstrada in the direction of Firenze.After approximately 45 minutes you should look out for the exit signposted 'Empoli Ovest'.Take this turn off and at the roundabout turn right and then right again at the end of the road.Proceed along this road and continue over the level crossing and straight on at the traffic light.At the next roundabout turn right and continue on. Arriving at the following roundabout turn left and you will shortly come to a mini roundabout at which you should keep to the right.Carry on along this road which will lead you to Vinci village. If driving down to Italy from the UK, get onto the Autostrada A1 towards Firenze and take the exit signposted 'Scandicci' and then join the Superstrada towards Pisa.Take the exit signposted 'Empoli Ovest' and at the roundabout turn right and then right again at the end of the road.Proceed along this road and continue over the level crossing and straight on at the traffic light.At the next roundabout turn right and continue on. Arriving at the following roundabout turn left and you will shortly come to a mini roundabout at which you should keep to the right.Carry on along this road which will lead you to Vinci village. Drive through Vinci village and up the hill. Part way up the hill look out for a black and white sign, on your left, for Podere Zollaio, which is a sharp turnoff onto an unmade lane. We are the fourth farmhouse along this lane. You will see the Podere Zollaio sign directly in front of you on a brick post. If
